Video

You can tell by the videos that Moose is quite talkative. They keep us laughing and thankfully Bandit is keeping Moose in line and is the "boss" for now.

Heath received these pictures in an email. Lubbock got 8 inches of rain on Thursday! The Lubbock Fire Department pumped the water out all day on Friday so the game will be played on Saturday:)

Sweet and calm Bandit
Bandit loves Jared
Moose does not fit in Bandit's bed!
This is how we found Moose the other night after a loooooong walk.
We have been talking a lot about the fact that Moose is only half his size. It's crazy how fast he has grown. He loves puppy class and is doing really well. He does really well considering there is a 2.5 lb. rat terrier in our class! The only embarrassing times are when we all sit in the back and "discuss" things. Moose wants to play with all of the other dogs. His way of showing that he wants to play is to growl. It sounds like he wants to eat the other dogs, but he only wants to have a little fun :)
His favorite thing to do is to bark and growl at Bandit all day long.

Skydiving - Video

Hilary went to get the mail this morning and we finally got my skydiving video. (I guess that was actually REALLY quick, but I couldn't wait to see it.) The guy did a great job on it and it was well worth it. The guy that was recording went to great lengths to get all of this, from hanging off the side of the airplane to walking around most of the day with a sort-of "helmet cam" on. He was GREAT just like all the other guys at the Oklahoma Skydiving Center. I can't imagine doing this anywhere else for the first time. Enough blabbing...I hope you guys enjoy the video as much as I enjoyed being the star in it!

New Favorite Toy

We got the dogs a new toy and we think they might like it. They take it outside with them, they tug it everywhere, and Moose is in his kennel with it right now!

Freefallin'

Yes, I went through with it! Many of you know that I went to Oklahoma this weekend to "jump out of a perfectly good plane". WOW!!! that was completely amazing and beyond words. If anyone wants to go skydiving, I would highly recommend this place in Cushing, Oklahoma. THEY WERE AWESOME! My mom and I both jumped out of a plane at 10,000 feet this past weekend. We did not jump tandem, like most people do their first time, we did the Accelerated Free Fall jump. You jump out of the plane with 2 jumpmasters that hold on to you until your chute is deployed, but you get to freefall for a lot longer than on a static line jump (the 4,000 foot jump) and you get to fly your own canopy down after pulling your chute at about 5,000 feet. I will definitely do it again, I loved it and can't wait to go back.

These pictures ended up in some sort of strange order, but I will put a caption on each.
All of these were taken by a photographer that jumped out of the plane with me and my 2 jumpmasters.

Here we are in the plane, taking the 15 minute ride up to 10,000 feet.

The plane was about to take off, I was getting in. If anyone needs a blue helmet, just call me.
The guy in the blue shirt is Bobby, one of my jumpmasters.
Goofy sign that seemed to be the photo-op of the day for LOTS of skydivers Bobby is giving me a sign to check in with him, but I am pretty preoccupied FREAKING OUT!
More freaking out and screaming added to the mix.
This was me trying like hell to get into an arch, if you aren't in an arch you are out of control.
Arch was getting a little better, the longer we fell.
Pretty cool pic where you can see just how FAR we are off the ground. Checking my altimeter to see how close to the ground we are.
Still trying for that perfect arch that we learned about all day in training.
I think I got it.
Still screaming, though.
More screaming, Bobby still telling me to check my altimeter.

The other jumpmaster's name was Andy.Still a long way from the ground.
So far away.
Checking the altimeter one last time.
More photos and videos to come....
