Moose's field trip

Moose enjoyed his first trip to Petsmart.

You may have noticed from the videos that Moose loves to sweep. His other favorite things are socks and Sonic ice. He has learned to put his paws up on the coffee table so he is learning the command for "off." We are amazed at how fast he is growing. He is on the last hole on his puppy collar. I'm sure Bruce grew this fast, we just don't remember=)) Oh, and his nicknames are crack-pants (he is called this when he is running through the house at 100 miles and hour growling and barking at Bandit) and alligator (he is called this because he is teething and he will chomp down on anything!)

First nail trimming session....it went quite well for moose-bandit on the other hand had a panic attack and shook for 10 minutes after his pedicure.

Moose plays

Moose loves his brother Bandit. We sit outside in the evenings and watch them play. We haven't watched TV since we got Moose!

Moose met the coolest cat. His name is Carlton and he belongs to our good friend Martin. Moose really did well. He only smelled him. Carlton hissed a couple of time, but it was fun and we thank Martin for letting us use his cat to socialize Moose!

We are genius' here and moved Moose's kennel to the master bedroom. It made a huge difference and he is sleeping more and howling less!!!

Howling! Last night (Wednesday) was the best night in the crate. We put him in his crate at 10 and he woke us up at 2:15. He went potty and then howled for an hour. He woke up at 6:30am.....that's a lot of progress from Tuesday night when he woke up at 12, 2, 3, 4, and 6....he misses his sister=(

Hilary babysat for Nicholas this morning. He is 18 months old and Moose did great with him. Nicholas spilled out his water bowl and Moose just sat there looking at him.

Bandit is doing pretty good. It has not been an instant friendship like it was with Bruce, but they are doing fine. Bandit lets him know when he does not want to play. Unfortunately, Moose is really excited about Bandit's tail. He thinks it's a toy. Bandit really enjoyed a walk this morning and the trip to Petsmart without the puppy.

First vet visit

No parvo for this puppy. YEAH! Moose threw up a little bit in his kennel and had some potty issues Tuesday night. We were the first ones at the vet on Wednesday morning. He is gaining weight and had a normal temp. We are overly cautious and our vet was very sweet and understanding!

Last weekend in Plano

While in Plano, Hilary and her mom did Race for the Cure. A group of teachers from her mom's school walked with them. The weather was perfect. They had a great time! On Sunday we stopped in Arlington to eat with Hilary's best bud from middle school Jennifer Jorgensen Bailey. Her two boys are super cute and we had a blast catching up and looking at old pictures.
