Moose at 7 1/2 weeks

We bought this small "moose" toy for Bandit a couple of weeks ago. He takes it everywhere with him. He squeaks it constantly. He lays on top of it. He sleeps with it. He shakes it. He growls at it. Bandit is ready for Moose to come home!

We pick up Moose on Sunday! We can't wait.

One HOT weekend

Hilary went to see Sex and the City. While there, Heath made a master plan for our weekend.

Our first lawn guy flaked on us, so we decided to do it ourselves.

On Saturday it was 101, on Sunday it was 103.
We mowed....our cool friend Marcus helped.

We rented this bad boy...a sod cutter.

It went really well.

Our other cool friend Martin loves to do yard work. Hilary and Martin took out the monkey grass.

It rolled up really easily in the back yard.

It didn't roll up so easily in the front yard.

Hilary went to a wedding Saturday night. Brandi was gorgeous and lots of Stubbs friends were there!

The reception was at the Windmill Museum.

We enjoyed a beautiful west Texas sunset.

This is what Bandit did ALL weekend.

Sunday we rented a tiller.

We drank all of a 5 gallon water jug.

We used 3 gallons of bleach.....yes we bleached the dirt.

Bleach is the only thing that kills parvo.

The best news of the weekend....we found a new lawn guy. He starts tomorrow and he will install a new sprinkler system, level the yard, and lay sod......Hallelujah!

While we were in Siloam Springs, my friend Laura had her baby girl. She is absolutely gorgeous and looks just like her daddy. She is blessed to have Laura and Steven as her parents.

Prayers needed

Please pray for my sweet friend Christy. She teaches right next to me at school and we have such a great friendship. Her husband passed away suddenly due to complications with diabetes. Christy has 2 teenage sons. Her oldest graduates high school on Friday.

A celebration of 65 years of marriage

We traveled to Kansas, OK this weekend to celebrate Hilary's grandparent's 65 wedding anniversary. Here is the happy couple. Another happy couple.
