Bandit in the Box

So we took Bandit with us to run errands last Saturday and Heath had just returned from a business trip...good ole' Snyder...anyways, he had a bunch of stuff in his backseat. Bandit was content in the backseat chewing on his treat from Petsmart and we found him laying on top of a leather coat inside of a box.

Happy Birthday Heath....a little late

Here are some pictures of Heath's bithday. We had a great time celebrating with wonderful friends. Happy 21st Birthday!! (Heath hates getting older, so he will always be 21....you just have to go with it...he will not tell you his age!) the birthday boy

Random Pictures

I've been trying to get this on video for a while. Bandit has us trained! Bandit is not a very hungry dog. He only eats a cup a day if that and only pretty late at night. Sometimes, he lets us know that his bowl is empty. The funny this about it is, that when we fill it up, he walks away and won't eat it!
This is Lexi the Basset Hound. She belongs to our friend Martin's roommates. She's a cute dog!
So, Heath and I had a fun date night last Friday. We went to the symphony and to this little place called Cafe J (yummiest chocolate martini's!) Bad News: Heath's car got backed into....Good News: the girl that did it left a note. We already received an insurance check to get it fixed. We are very thankful that an honest person hit it!

This is what Bandit did in the parking lot while we called the insurance people and the girl that hit the car....hard life!

We got this cool basket for all of our blankets and Bandit decided to climb into it and rest. His dog bed is about 5 feet away, but I guess he wanted this particular blanket.

Happy Birthday!

I thought I would wish my dad a BIG happy 60th Birthday on the blog since he says he checks it daily! This guy was at every volleyball, soccer, softball, dance recital, drill team performance, talent show, everything. Happy Birthday!

Many of you know how excited we are to get a new puppy. We miss Bruce so much everyday and we cannot wait to have another Rottweiler.
We were very saddened to find out that our new puppy was not born on Monday. The mama dog had a false pregnancy. We had fallen in love with the parents when we visited in December and are so disappointed.

The next breeding will not be until February. We are very excited about this since it will be with "Amy and Tuscon." Amy was Bruce's mom. She is a beautiful dog with a sweet disposition. The dad Tuscon is Dallas' son and Dallas was Bruce's dad. I know it's a little confusing, but we are glad to get another Dallas puppy.
Now, we just have to wait some more....this is so hard because we know what fun it is to have a puppy. We really do miss the challenge of owning a Rottweiler.

Now we have more time to put up a fence and do the yard....fun! The puppy will come home in June sometime.

I thought this video was absolutely hilarious.

We hope that our new puppy has some equally interesting talents as this guy.

Highlights from our time off=)

While Heath and I have been off we have enjoyed spending quality time together. Here's some of the things we enjoyed. (The pictures are in random order.)
We cleaned out the garage and took a truck load of crap to the dump.
BEFORE
AFTER

I learned how to play quitar hero....very fun!

We celebrated Jared's (Heath's middle brother's) birthday.

We watched a great movie

Watched marathon of Dirty Jobs.

We watched a marathon of Jon and Kate Plus 8 (Heath did not watch this=)

Heath went to see I am Legend with Hunter and his parents.

Heath got this for Christmas and we have watched almost all of it. It's amazing!

Heath also got The Office Season 1 and 2 for Christmas. We have watched all of it and I have become a huge fan. We love Dwight.

These are not our baseboards, but Heath has been working hard putting down brand new baseboards. There have been some difficult cuts and he is doing an amazing job. Heath loves his new nail gun, Bandit however does not. He shivers and pants like he is going to have a heart attack.

We bought some white caulk for the baseboards. Then I used it on the kitchen cabinets. They look so much better!

My mom got me this wonderful book for Christmas and I made the caramel cake for Hunter and Becky. It didn't turn out pefect looking, but it tasted yummy.
Last but not least, we will leave you with this funny video of Bandit and the helicopter.

Happy New Year!
